Your Neighbourhood Coordinator is a visible and active presence in your community, someone you can recognise, approach and rely on. They are here to support you, your home and your neighbourhood.

Supporting you and your neighbourhood

Your neighbourhood is supported by a dedicated Neighbourhood Team, led by Neighbourhood Coordinators and Neighbourhood Team Managers. Together, they work to make sure your community is safe, well‑managed and a place where people feel at home.

 

What your Neighbourhood Coordinator does

Your Neighbourhood Coordinator works alongside you and your community to provide support in the following ways:

  • Welcoming you into your home and neighbourhood with early visits and support
  • Keeping in touch through regular reviews to make sure your details and needs are up to date
  • Offering guidance and support if your circumstances change
  • Carrying out regular safety checks in communal areas
  • Identifying and reporting repairs or hazards
  • Helping ensure your building and shared spaces remain safe and well maintained
  • Providing a regular presence in schemes, particularly where additional support or safety systems are in place
  • Being available on site to support residents and respond to local needs
  • Organising local events, drop‑in sessions and neighbourhood visits so you can speak to us directly
  • Supporting local improvements through the Neighbourhood Improvement Fund
  • Encouraging resident involvement so you can help shape your neighbourhood
  • Helping resolve low‑level issues such as noise, minor disputes or untidy gardens
  • Working with you and your neighbours to maintain a respectful and positive community
