We’re always looking for ways to improve the services we provide to our residents, and the Repair Action Day at Woodlands Court, on 3 December was a fantastic example of that.
A big thank you to David (Surveying Manager) and Anjana (Your Neighbourhood Coordinator), who did an amazing job organising the day and making sure everything ran smoothly. Several repairs had been reported by residents including guttering issues, door stoppers that needed replacing and more. By bringing together the right teams we were able to tackle these in one day.
David coordinated seamlessly with Wates, who sent a supervisor, roofer, and other skilled operatives, as well as Dyno-Rod drain engineers, to support on the day. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to complete most of the repairs there and then. Dyno-Rod also spotted more work that needed attention, which they will continue to follow up.
During the Day, Anjana, spoke with residents who were extremely pleased with how the day went. They expressed how reassuring it was to know their concerns were listened to.
Here’s a look at what was achieved on the day:
- Guttering repairs both the front and back of the building
- Renewal of all door stoppers
- Decorating of surrounding walls
- The carpet was also placed back into nosing (which provides extra support and reduces wear and tear)
- Roof vent inspection which David confirmed are all working properly.
We are proud of what we have achieved for our residents and grateful to everyone who played a part in making the day a success. It’s through days like this that we are able to build safe and well-maintained communities.
