Neighbourhood Improvement Fund in action

We’re always looking for ways to make your neighbourhood a better place to live, and thanks to the Neighbourhood Improvement Fund, we are able to make improvements that matter to you. Recently, the bin areas in Summers Close, Weybridge, and Tilt View, Cobham, have been improved to address residents’ concerns.

Summers Close, Weybridge

We made some much-needed improvements to the bin area at Summers Close, following concerns raised by residents. The previous location of the bin was visible from the main road, encouraging fly tipping. This was not only unpleasant to look at but also cause safety concerns. We removed the waste every week, costing the residents more money in service charges.

Thanks to your feedback, we’ve now relocated the bins to a more hidden area and upgraded the bin store. The result? A big drop in the amount of fly tipping and lots of positive feedback from our residents. It’s a great example of how the Neighbourhood Improvement Fund can make a big impact in your community.

Tilt View, Cobham

Over in Tilt View, one of our residents let us know they didn’t have a dedicated bin shed like the other three flats. As a result, their bin kept going missing. We listened and arranged for our contractors to build a single bin shed to securely store the resident’s bin. The resident was very grateful for our help and said that the contractor did a great job!
