Thanks to a recent spruce-up, the outdoor space at The Limes is looking better than ever. Just in time for residents to enjoy the sunshine and outdoors this summer.
A few residents let us know that the patio area had seen better days, the floor was slippery, and the chairs were stained. It wasn’t just about how it looked either – as an independent living scheme, safety is key, and we want everyone to feel comfortable using the shared spaces.
So, we got to work! With a good jet wash of the patio by our contractors, Wettons and a thorough clean of the chairs, the area now looks fresh, safe and much more pleasant to relax in. No more slippery surfaces or dirty seats, just a clean space where everyone can enjoy the outdoors, have a cuppa or catch up with neighbours in the sunshine.
Residents were pleased with the results and happy to see their concerns taken seriously. It’s amazing how small improvements can make a big difference.
This was a one-off project funded by the Neighbourhood Improvement Fund (NIF), but don’t worry if things start to look a bit worse for wear, your NC Rosie is always happy to step in and help improve your neighbourhood.
