For families and children
Shilton by the Sea
July 29 to July 31 from 11am to 5pm
Location: Wood Street Park, Kings Walk, Earl Shilton, LE9 7NL
Cost: Free to attend, but tickets to go on rides at £1 each
A full day of family fun around Shilton by the Sea.
Family fun day with fair rides, giant sand pits, bungee trampolines, donkey rides, food stall, Punch & Judy and face painting.

Hinckley BID’s Summer of Fun – Emergency Services
July 30 from 11am to 3pm
Location: The Crescent, Lancaster Road, Hinckley, LE10 0QJ
Cost: Free!
Hinckley BID present a summer of fun with help from local emergency services.
Free fun for all the family in Hinckley town centre on Wednesdays during the summer school holidays. No booking necessary.
Police and other emergency services engage with families at the crescent with their vehicles on display. A crafts gazebo will be available throughout the day.
Feast Hinckley 2025
August 2 – August 3 from 10am to 5pm

Feast Hinckley returns to Argent’s Mead in 2025!
Your free entry food festival will feature around 45 plus street food vendors catering for all along with live music and family fun.

Snap Dragon Children’s Festival
August 4 – August 6 from 11am to 3pm
Location: Argents Mead, Hinckley, LE10 1BZ
Cost: Free!
Three fun-filled days of activities for all the family, the event is free to attend, although there may be a small charge for some activities. Here’s what to expect on the three days:

Summer Club at Green Towers
August 4 – August 22 from 9am to 12pm

Cost: £2 members / £4 non-members / free entry for HAF
Various activities available over two weeks on weekdays.
The Summer Club runs weekdays from Monday 4 August to Friday 22 August. Various activities, including breakfast and lunch.

Summer Fayre at Green Towers
August 9 from 12pm to 3pm

Cost: £1 for adults
A day filled with exciting summer activities for all.
Our annual Summer Fayre taking place on Saturday 9 August: Climbing wall, bouncy castles, roller skating, craft stalls, face painting, hot and cold food and drinks and more.

Hinckley BID’s Summer of Fun – Allstars
August 20 from 11am to 3pm
Location: Argents Mead, Hinckley, LE10 1BZ
Cost: Free!
Hinckley BID are pleased to host a day to celebrate the talent of children in the local community. We are delighted to work with a variety of music, dance and performing arts schools, there will be different areas across Argents Mead to showcase live performances.
All the entertainment is free to watch and children will get the chance to have a go and join in the fun.

Hinckley BID’s classic vehicle meet
August 21 from 5pm to 8.30pm
Location: Hinckley Town Centre
Cost: Free!
Returning this year by popular demand, anyone with a classic vehicle of any kind who would like to pop along would be most welcome.
The event is held on Thursday 17 July and Thursday 21 August at Hinckley's Market Place. Free to visit and enter. Entry is by pre-registration only.
The entrance will be from Station Road. Please spread the word to any enthusiast you may know.

Hinckley Indie Market
August 31 and every last Sunday of the month from 10am to 3pm
Location: Hinckley Town Centre
Cost: Free!
All Communities Matter host an Indie Market on the last Sunday of every month.
Family fun and community event supporting local traders in the Market Place and the Borough in Hinckley town centre held on the last Sunday of every month, excluding December.
A wide selection of goods will be available from bakers, crafters, makers and charities. There will also be children's entertainment available.

Hinckley Pride

Hinckley Pride takes place on Saturday the 23rd August 2025.
Hinckley Pride plans to support our LGBTQ+ community and celebrate by embracing all cultures, sexualities and genders within our borough. We are a volunteer-led not-for-profit organisation whose ethos is to promote tolerance, diversity, inclusion and education within the communities of Hinckley and Bosworth. This year will be the 3rd pride in the park even more extraordinary, showcasing electrifying entertainment, thought-provoking discussions, and unforgettable experiences that will leave a lasting impact on all who attend.

Day Clubs provide a safe source of daytime support and care for a loved one in a welcoming and homely environment, using trained and vetted staff. Our clubs offer social connection and all the personalised support your loved one needs to enjoy their day, including a daily hot lunch to save time cooking an evening meal at home. We can also offer personal care services.

Cream Tea & Bingo Fundraiser

Local fundraiser which includes summer treats and a game of bingo.

Jive Nights at Hinckley Rock ‘n’ Roll Club
Every fortnight from March 14 to December 13 from 7.30pm to 11pm
