Ashfield Summer Events Roundup (July - August 2025)

Adult Education Advice Event 
July 16 from 5pm to 7pm 
Location: Vision West Nottinghamshire College, Derby Road, Mansfield, NG18 5BH 
Cost: Free!

Ashfield Show 2025 
August 8 – August 10 
Location: Sutton Lawn, Lawn Avenue, Sutton-in-Ashfield, NG17 5FU 
Cost: Free! 

Ashfield District Council will see the hugely popular 3-day event return to Sutton Lawn on Friday to Sunday, August 8 to 10. It promises a huge line-up of music across the weekend, as well as the funfair, family activities, market village and the return of the dog show among the attractions. 

Friday will see a tribute to Mumford and Sons and Olivia Rodrigo take to the stage. Tribute, headliners from last year, will be returning as well as soloists Oliver Vawdrey and Ant Green. 

Saturday will welcome tributes to Oasis, UB40, Tina Turner, Lady Gaga, Dolly Parton, Adele, Elton John and Tom Jones. 

Finally, the Sunday line-up will see tributes to Pink, Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, George Ezra, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Katy Perry and Ariana Grande. The Kaiser Monkey Killers tribute band will also be playing the hits of Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys and The Killers. 

Each day will kick off with community acts appearing on the main stage. 

 

MakerSpace Open Day 
August 17 from 11am to 4pm 
Location: MakerSpace Ashfield, 70 High Pavement, Sutton-in-Ashfield, NG17 1BH 
Cost: Free! 

On Sunday 17th August from 11am - 4pm, the MakerSpace doors are open for people to go and have a look around and talk to the current member volunteers.  

Attendees will be able to walk round the areas freely, no group tours this time, unless requested. This will allow you more time to look at the areas you are most interested in and ask your questions.  

Access to the space is off Langton Road, on the West side of High Pavement building. Parking is available at New Street.  

 

Ashfield Food and Drink Festival 2025 
August 17 from 10am to 4pm 
Location: Hucknall High Street and Market Place, 66 High Street, Hucknall, NG15 7AX 
Cost: Free! 

The Ashfield Food and Drink Festival will return to Hucknall High Street on Sunday 17 August 2025! 

The annual food and drink festival will offer a day of smells, sounds, and tastes from across the globe. It will include produce, street food, cheeses, baked goods, beers, rum, cider, and kitchen gifts. 

Visitors will be treated to live music and live cookery demonstrations throughout the day.
