We are delighted to share some positive news about a recent success story at Birrell Road, Nottingham. This summer, our team was able to step in and make a significant difference in the life of one of our residents.
In July, I visited the resident's home to carry out a resident review and was informed by the resident of a persistent bathroom leak and a deteriorating kitchen. Although the bathroom issue was addressed promptly, there had been little progress on the kitchen repairs. Both the bathroom and kitchen really needed an upgrade. Upon seeing the condition of the kitchen, I took immediate action, raising the matter with our Damp and Mould Team.
After several discussions and a number of emails, we're thrilled to announce that work has now started on the kitchen. The resident is overjoyed, and it’s wonderful to see how my efforts have had such a positive impact. She was so grateful for the support and expressed her thanks for the assistance I provided.
With her permission, I was able to take some images to capture the progress of the work. These photos show the transformation as the kitchen is being renewed, and the resident is excited to see her new kitchen come to life.
