PA on Tour in Wandsworth: building connections, one community at a time

On Saturday 28 June 2025, our teams from ASB, Neighbourhoods, Aftercare, and Development came together for a special day of resident engagement at Venture House and Botany House in Wandsworth.

The PA on Tour event wasn’t just about showing up—it was about showing what’s possible when we work together, listen actively, and put you, our residents, at the heart of everything we do.

A day of collaboration and connection

Set against the backdrop of a vibrant new build, the event brought our teams out of the office and into the community. Residents had the chance to meet the people behind the services—those working to keep neighbourhoods safe, homes well-maintained, and communities thriving.

From answering questions on the spot to resolving issues in real time, the day was a great example of cross-team collaboration in action. It showed how integrated working can lead to faster solutions and better outcomes for everyone.

Residents had their say

We were thrilled to welcome 14 households—a fantastic turnout for a community still finding its feet. The relaxed, friendly atmosphere helped spark conversations that might not have happened through more formal channels.

Here’s what some residents had to say:

“It was great to put faces to names across the different teams in PA.”
“Really good event—nice to see PA out and about.”
“A good, engaging event, and great to meet people in the organisation who you wouldn’t usually see.”
“I like how staff are very nice and responsive.”

Spotting issues early, solving them together

One of the biggest wins of the day? Residents felt comfortable raising concerns—from low-harm ASB to snagging concerns—which meant we could act quickly. This kind of early visibility is crucial in new communities and helps us stay present and proactive.

Creating a sense of belonging

We didn’t just talk shop. With face painting, cookies, and lollies, the event had a warm, family-friendly vibe that made everyone feel welcome. These small touches go a long way in helping residents feel part of something bigger—a connected, caring community.

A visible commitment to new builds

Having our Aftercare and Development teams on site alongside Neighbourhoods and ASB teams gave residents confidence that their voices were being heard. It also gave us valuable insights to improve future handovers and design considerations.

Why it matters

This event wasn’t just a one-off—it’s part of our wider mission to build resident-first communities. By being present, approachable, and responsive, we’re strengthening trust, surfacing issues early, and laying the foundation for long-term success.

We’re proud of what PA on Tour achieved—and even more excited about what’s next.
