On Wednesday 20 August 2025, PA on Tour came to Arlington House and what a great day it was!
The communal garden became a hub of fun and conversation, with facepainting for kids, PA branded cookies, sweet treats, and even a board game survey where you could share your views.
Beyond the treats, the day was about something much bigger, listening to you, our residents, and taking action together.
Our Team on the day included:
-
Lizzie, your Head of Service for London (HOS)
-
Karis, Your Neighbourhood Team Manager (NTM)
-
Cory, Your Neighbourhood Coordinator (NC)
-
Katie, another NC
What we heard from you
On the day, you raised some really important points about your homes and neighbourhood. Here’s what you told us, and what we’re doing about it:
Safety around your home 💡
-
You said: “The alleyway light at Springfield Place, outside my home has been broken for a while, it feels unsafe walking there at night.”
-
We did: We’ve asked our Repairs Team to look into replacing the light so the area is safer and better lit.
-
You said: “The stairs inside my home are damaged and need checking.”
-
We did: Cory is arranging for a surveyor to visit and inspect the condition of the stairs.
Green spaces 🌳
-
You said: “The green area outside my home isn’t being looked after. It seems to be missing from your patch maps.”
-
We did: Our Contracts and Partnership Team are updating the maps to make sure this and other missed spaces are included in regular maintenance.
Bin area 🗑️
-
You said: “The bins aren’t being emptied properly because of contamination.”
-
We did: Cory arranged for the bins to be cleaned and the shed reorganised. Lizzie checked in later and saw a much tidier, well-maintained area.

Making your home your own 📺
-
You said: “Can I mount my TV on the wall now I’ve been here over a year?”
-
We did: Karis confirmed this is fine and sent written confirmation to the resident.
-
You said: “Cigarette butts are being thrown into my garden from balconies above.”
-
We did: Cory will be sending out reminders to all residents not to throw items over balconies.
Communal lighting 🏢
-
said: “Some of the lights in the second-floor communal areas aren’t working.”
-
We did: This has been reported to our Repairs Team and will be fixed.
-
You said: “The lift sometimes breaks down, though it’s usually repaired quickly.”
-
We did: We’ll continue to monitor this and make sure any issues are dealt with as soon as they’re reported.
Why PA on Tour Matters
PA on Tour is all about building connections and understanding who is behind our doors. By creating these events and coming to your neighbourhood, we can listen to your feedback, work with you to find solutions and celebrate your community together.
We left Arlington House with clear actions to follow up on, but also with real appreciation for the warmth and friendliness of the community.
Tell us what you think
