The Midlands Antisocial Behaviour Team hosted their first surgery out in our neighbourhoods on Thursday 3 April, for the residents of Dover House.
We decided, while we were out and about, that we could also carry out a litter pick. The team headed to Dover House and set up in the common room with advice leaflets. We took full advantage of a beautiful sunny day to get the black bags and litter pickers out.
Getting stuck in, we collected a good amount of rubbish from the grounds and spoke to residents as we went along. We also spoke with residents in the communal lounge on a one-to-one basis if they preferred a more confidential setting.
We aim to be a positive presence within our neighbourhoods, offering residents meaningful opportunities to connect with us and making sure they can easily report any ASB concerns affecting them or their communities.
