What's on offer?
One week every month, from June to December 2026, we'll be offering set placements at both our Case House office in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey and our Bede Island office in Leicester.
The placements will involve you working in different teams to give you an insight into the broad range of roles and teams within PA, the services we provide, and how we’re looking to meet key goals. We’ll provide details of the specific teams you’ll be working with once you’ve confirmed your placement week. These will change as different teams are based at each office.
Please note, you must be a PA Housing resident or a resident’s family member to take part. If you’re aged between 16 and 18, you’ll need parental / guardian consent.
Our expectations
Expectations from us
We’ll do what we can to make adjustments for any accessibility requirements or individual needs you may have. If you do have specific needs, please let us know on the application form. The days will run from 9.00am - 5.00pm but may finish earlier depending on the needs of the team hosting the placement.
We’re happy to reimburse reasonable travel expenses too, which includes public transport but excludes taxis. Please agree these with us in advance, before the placement, so we can make sure you’re all covered and you don’t have to worry about the cost of getting to our office.
Expectations from you
During your time at PA, we’d kindly ask for your behaviours on the placements to be in line with our values. We’d appreciate your courtesy and kindness.
We'll also ask you to confirm the placement two weeks ahead of it running. If we don't receive a response to confirm you'll be attending by the week before the placement runs, we'll assume you're no longer able to attend and so will cancel the arrangements.
What it isn’t
This isn’t an offer of employment with PA, and it won't result in a job offer at the end of the week, but we’re providing this opportunity to give you valuable experience to take forward into your career.
