Residents meeting - man in purple shirt

New ASB working group launched

We've launched a new Antisocial Behaviour (ASB) Working Group designed to ensure residents voices are central to how we manage and prevent ASB across our communities.

The group creates a dedicated space for residents to share lived experience, review current approaches, and influence meaningful service improvements that support safer, more confident neighbourhoods.

What the working group aims to achieve:

  • Strengthen resident voice in shaping ASB policies, procedures, and service standard.
  • Increase transparency around how ASB cases are handled, including communication, timeframes, and outcome
  • Identify gaps and challenges in current ASB responses and co‑design practical solutions
  • Support early intervention and prevention by helping PA Housing understand emerging issues within communities
  • Promote partnership working between residents, PA Housing, local authorities, Police, and community organisations
  • Improve resident confidence and satisfaction with how ASB is managed

Progress so far

The group held its introductory meeting at the end of January and is now moving into its next phase. Recruitment is ongoing, and the upcoming mid‑February meeting will be reviewing PA Housing’s Noise and Nuisance Policy.

If you have had an ASB case closed within the last year, you are invited to join the group to share your firsthand experience of ASB and PA Housing’s handling of your case, and to offer insight into future changes to policy and procedures.
