Spring is in the air, and what better way to celebrate than doing a spot of gardening? So, this April, we worked collaboratively with involved residents to co- host a delightful hanging basket workshop at Canada Court and Clifton Lodge to add a splash of colour to the community.
We gathered in the courtyard for an afternoon of gardening fun! Residents of Clifton Lodge and Canada Court participated enthusiastically, and the Clifton Lodge walkways were adorned with vibrant hanging baskets. Those with balconies had the chance to create their own personalised hanging baskets. All necessary materials, including baskets, soil, fixings, and a variety of plants, were provided.
Whether seasoned gardeners or complete novices, everyone got creative to make their balconies and walkways bloom. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet neighbours, get hands dirty, and brighten up the communal spaces.
Florals? For spring? We think it’s ground-breaking! The event was a wonderful success, and the community came together to make their surroundings beautiful.
