Elmbridge Borough Council and Shout! have put together a fantastic schedule of free family events happening all summer long.
These sessions are perfect for children aged 4 to 11 and a great way to get outdoors, get active and meet local families. From craft mornings to play-and-stay afternoons, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
No need to book - just turn up, join in and make the most of summer right here on your doorstep.
Riverside Walk and Scavenger Hunt - Hurst Park (Molesey)
Looking for a fun way to explore the outdoors? Join a free riverside adventure the whole family will love!

National Play Day – Lower Green, Esher
Celebrate National Play Day with activities such as athletics, challenges and free play.

Elmbridge Museum (Esher)
Take part in some Make-Do and Mend activities while learning how to save resources through a WW2 program to help children produce interesting household items. The session is aimed at children aged 5-12 who want to get creative.

Shout! Stay and Play Session – Elmbridge
These sessions include arts, crafts, games, sport, storytelling and music, held across parks and community spaces all summer long.
All sessions run from 10am to 1pm on the following dates and locations:
Walton: Thursday, 14 August at Cowey Sale Recreation Ground KT12 1QW
Weybridge: Friday, 15 August at Brooklands Community Park KT13 0XF
Hersham: Tuesday, 19 August at Coronation Recreation Ground KT12 4QY
West Molesey: Friday, 22 August at Groveland Recreation Ground KT8 2EB
Long Ditton: Tuesday 26 August at Long Ditton Recreation Ground, Windmill Lane, Long Ditton, Surbiton KT6 5JT
No booking required, just turn up at the listed location at 10am. Bring a water bottle, dress for the weather and be ready to have lots of fun.
