What a special day we had at The Firs! Residents gathered to celebrate Glady’s incredible 103rd birthday.
The Firs is a retirement home in the heart of Claygate, with 94 flats for people ages 55 and over. It’s a warm, welcoming home and this celebration was a perfect example of the community spirit here.
The festivities for Gladys' big day included eating plenty of cake and listening to music as well as reminiscing about her childhood and all the different events that have happened in her life.
A big thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make Glady’s day so special. We're already looking forward to celebrating the next big Milestone!
