In March 2024, Case House, Walton saw a convoy of cars and vans arriving to collect generous donations of food boxes for distribution to families in need across Addlestone.

Thanks to the dedication of volunteers and local partners, around 500 food boxes- filled with tinned goods, pasta, rice, milk, cereal, and non-food items, were loaded up and delivered to families facing hardship during the Easter school holidays.

The project was made possible through a fantastic team effort led by Bernie, John and Graham from PA Housing, working closely with St Pauls Church Loaves and Fishes Lunch Project, Salvation Army and Runnymede Food Bank. Together, we made sure these boxes reached those who needed them the most.

Carol, from St Paul’s Church, said:

“Local families have been very grateful for the help from PA Housing at this time when people are struggling to feed their children during the school holidays. Several parents told us that their children were eating them out of house and home!"

One PA resident was very grateful for the help with food, especially as she has four teenagers in the house to feed.

Thank you to our staff, partners and volunteers, for making this Easter a bit easier for families in our neighbourhoods.
