We're refreshing My PA

We’re excited to introduce an updated, more accessible My PA app.

This update has been in progress for some time, based on your feedback, including during the Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSM) survey, about the previous version. We’re happy to announce the updated app will be available on Monday 2 February with ongoing improvements to come. 

What's been updated? 

For now, the app will have the same features and processes as the old version. You can still pay rent, request repairs, diagnose issues, and more. Previously, the app worked more like a web portal, but now all the features are built into the app itself. This should make it easier to use on your phone. 

You can still use the same services on your laptop or desktop. The web version has also been updated to make things smoother and more consistent with the phone app. 

The updated app is built to work smoothly for residents and gives us a strong foundation for future improvements. It also has the option to sign in using a fingerprint or facial recognition to improve security.

Questions

If I already have an account, will I get automatically logged out? 

Yes, as we transfer accounts, you’ll be logged out for security reasons. Your account will stay active, so just sign in again with your email and password. After your first login, you’ll need to update your password for extra security. This way, you won’t have to re-register or start over. 

I have a desktop/laptop, but I don’t have a mobile phone. Can I still use the web version? 

Yes, you will still be able to use the web version at mypa.pahousing.co.uk which will also be updated with a new look to make it more user friendly.    

Do I have to download the app again if I’ve already installed it on my phone?  

No, you won’t need to download the app again. The existing app will update automatically. If you usually use the browser, you might notice more benefits by downloading the app, thanks to its sleeker, more accessible design. We hope more people will give it a try!

Yes, we have worked with our app developers to produce some video tutorials, which we will be launching alongside the app.
