On 5 February we held our third virtual residents meeting, where we invited everyone to join us online to hear from our Chief Executive, Michael McDonagh and other members of the executive team.
We welcomed just under 300 residents online who joined the session which included 82 residents who joined special ‘viewings’ which had been arranged in some of our Independent Living schemes.
Michael and members of the executive team spoke for roughly 30 minutes about some of the changes and improvements which have been made so far, as well as some of the plans for the future on how we’ll continue to learn from our mistakes and from residents’ feedback to keep doing better.
The second half of the meeting was a Q&A session with a selection of questions based on themes being submitting their queries online. We also had colleagues from our Customer Services team, off camera, helping to log specific issues residents were raising about their home or neighbourhood.
Overall feedback from the session seems to have been positive, with many commenting on improved sound and image quality.
Although we're aware some residents struggled to access the meeting due to technical difficulties, and other expressed their frustration at not being given the opportunity to speak to Michael and colleagues.
Thank you for joining us
This is the third session we've run and they have evolved and improved each time. We’re committed to hosting another meeting in September 2025, and hope to continue to listen to the feedback from residents and make these meetings as easy to access and as beneficial as possible..
