Our gas contractor in the Midlands, Aaron Services, is currently recruiting for Apprentice Gas Engineers.
Who are Aaron Services?
With more than 37 years’ experience, Aaron Services is a market leading, multi-fuel heating and hot water specialist, working
almost exclusively within (domestic and commercial) social housing properties. With a growing client base and more than 50
current long-term contracts, they are on the lookout for Apprentice engineers to join their busy teams.
Across the East of England and the Midlands, they install more than 7,500 new heating systems and service more than 120,000 properties per annum. Working with their certified engineers, as an apprentice you will be attending tenants’ homes learning how to carry out service,
repair, and installation work of renewable energy systems. You will need to have a friendly and professional attitude, building
strong relationships with their clients and our tenants.

Key responsibilities of an Apprentice Gas Engineer
- Under the guidance of mentor engineers, carry out a high standard of plumbing and gas works in accordance
with Company Procedures, Legislation and Manufacturer’s Instructions. - Complete consistent, high-quality work and display a professional attitude, encouraging good relationships
with both Tenants and Clients. - Provide progress updates on work to the appropriate people, communicating issues and delays to ensure
these are dealt with appropriately and not impacting on tenants or clients. - Complete the required paperwork for each task as per Company Procedures, complying with Legislation
where applicable. - Drive your own learning, ensuring college requirements are fulfilled and attend additional internal training
sessions including Toolbox Talks, and Meetings.
Essential requirements needed to apply
- Level 2 English & Maths
- Friendly and professional attitude to encourage good relationships with our team and Clients.
- Participate in appropriate training activities and encourage and support staff in their development and training.
