On 9 September we held our second virtual residents meeting, where we invited everyone to join us online to hear from our Chief Executive, Michael McDonagh.
We welcomed almost 600 residents online who joined the session which included almost 200 residents who joined special ‘viewings’ which had been arranged in some of our Independent Living schemes. We also welcomed 18 residents who joined us in person for the live event.
The session was hosted by Michael McDonagh who spoke for roughly 30 minutes about some of the changes and improvements which have been made so far, as well as some of the plans for the future on how we’ll continue to learn from our mistakes and from residents’ feedback to keep doing better.
Mike was then joined by social housing campaigner, Kwajo Tweneboa who conducted a Q&A session with a selection of questions from the audience members and those submitting their queries online.
Overall feedback from the session seems to have been very positive and we’ve committed to hosting another meeting in February 2025.
