Just A Bit Of Fun

Let's enjoy summer together

Summer is a time to relax, socialise, and make the most of the warmer weather. Being a considerate neighbour helps create a friendly, safe, and welcoming community where everyone can enjoy their home and surroundings.

Misunderstandings can happen in any community, but open and respectful communication can often prevent minor issues from becoming bigger disputes. If a problem arises, approaching neighbours calmly and courteously is usually more effective than making assumptions or reacting negatively.

At PA Housing, we want everyone to feel comfortable in their home and be able to enjoy a peaceful and respectful living environment. We understand that living in a community can sometimes lead to disagreements between neighbours. While these issues may not always meet the threshold for antisocial behaviour (ASB), they can still affect people's quality of life.

To help keep our neighbourhoods enjoyable for everyone, we ask residents to:

  • Let neighbours know if you are planning a one-off gathering or celebration.
  • Be mindful of noise levels, particularly late at night and early in the morning.
  • Use rugs or mats on hard flooring in upper-floor flats to help reduce noise.
  • Keep pets under control and always clean up after them.
  • Supervise children and encourage considerate play.
  • Park responsibly and only in designated spaces.
  • Dispose of household waste correctly and report any fly-tipping.

By showing consideration for one another and working together, we can build stronger, safer and more enjoyable communities. Let's all do our part to ensure everyone can enjoy the summer in a positive and neighbourly atmosphere.

Have a lovely summer
