Missed appointments can be frustrating for everyone.
These can happen for many different reasons – maybe you’re not in when operatives are due to do work or a safety check has been scheduled, maybe you’ve not heard the door going, or perhaps there’s been a mix-up in communication on our side.
The Big Impact
Whether there has been a mistake or a conscious decision not to provide access to our operatives, we can all agree that missed appointments are never an ideal situation for anybody. It could mean a delay to a repair or an essential safety check, and the latter could escalate into a costly legal case if continuously missed which is something that we never want to happen.
Missed appointments also have a big impact on our ability to deliver our services, as the appointment must then go back to the planning team to be rearranged for a later date. In these circumstances, the operative may also need to remain on site until another job can be allocated. This can lead to delays in repairs for other residents too.
