You might have seen some recent press reports about Universal Credit.
The benefit system can be extremely difficult to navigate but if you are moving onto it we can help.
Our Universal Credit Hub is a team of specially trained experts who can support you through your claim. They have an excellent track record since the Hub launch last year. Many customers moving onto UC found they were chalking up rent arrears more than £250, but with our help that average is now less than £20.
In its first year it supported 874 of 1,216 customers who transferred to UC. As well as helping them to deal with the 5 week waiting period they ensured everyone claimed every benefit they were entitled to.
We gained £161,000 for customers in additional benefits such as PIP and Discretionary Housing Payments.
