Over 60 bathrooms fitted in the last month, with many more to come!
2019 - January, Latest news
PA Housing, in partnership with Mi-Space, has fitted over 60 new bathrooms in the past month as part of a programme which will see a £50 million investment in stock in the East Midlands over the course of 5 years.
The programme, which was awarded in July of this year, is seeking to spend between £3-4 million a year on the regeneration that will provide improvements for over 3000 residents. The turnover is ahead of schedule and customer satisfaction is already exceeding targets, with 100% of recipients rating their new bathrooms 'good' or 'excellent'. One resident said: “They treated me and my property with the upmost respect and I'm over the moon with the works being carried out."
Mi-Space has recruited locally throughout the East Midlands area for the project. Recruitment has focused on equal opportunities and BME employment, with the help of a Guajarati speaking team member. The team now comprises of 4 Site Managers, 4 Tenant Liaison Officers, a Project Manager, and a Commercial Manager, with an Administrator set to join the team soon.
The project is experiencing a surge at present, with a £1.8million cash boost between November 2018 and March 2019. At the peak of this period, Mi-Space expects to be handing over 50 completed works a week.
Please note that, if you have been selected for the kitchen and bathroom rejuvenation programme, we will already have reached out to you. If we have not been in touch, unfortunately you will not be eligible for the programme at this time.
