PA Housing's Matt Cooney to speak at Housing 2018

Matt Cooney, PA Housing’s Chief Operating Officer, will speak at Housing 2018, Europe's largest housing event which starts today in Manchester and is expected to draw over 11,000 attendees, the event celebrates the most influential names and forces in the world of housing.

Matt has been invited to speak during the session entitled Joint Ventures: National Estate Regeneration Review, following the ongoing success of the large-scale regeneration project in Woolwich. The session will form part of the UK Delivery Stream which looks at best practice of innovations in construction, examining the quality and safety of housing stock and exploring the future of the industry and funding.

Matt's session will be panel based, in which he and stakeholders in the Woolwich regeneration project will discuss ideas about best practice, looking at the outcomes achieved.       

The schedule for the event is looking jam-packed, with over 200 speakers set to impart their wisdom over the three-day period. And Housing 2018 won't be short of prestigious figures from the housing sector to impart said wisdom; Matt will speak alongside people like Sajid Javid, Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government; Mark Easton, Home Editor at BBC News; and Tim Shipman, the Political Editor of the Sunday Times.

Housing 2018 is this year's conference from the Chartered Institute of Housing, which aims to bring together 'the most diverse audience of sector professionals and partners over three days to celebrate excellence, share ideas, best practice and innovative solutions.'
