Resident Involvement Manager for the South East
I’ve worked in social housing for 35 years, much of this time in resident involvement and community development. Since 2009 I’ve been Resident Involvement Manager, responsible for developing the new Resident Council and the involvement structure.
Since 2011 we have embraced resident scrutiny and I have led the process of developing the scrutiny function. Scrutiny is a major drive of service improvement across the organisation. More than 100 recommendations have been made by residents. We have won several awards for this work.
Prior to working at PA I spent 10 years working with organisations like the tenant support organisation TPAS to help build quality involvement and engagement. This took me all across London, the South East and East Anglia, working with landlords to help develop their involvement strategies. I’m a member of the Board at TPAS and Chair of SWLEN – the SW London Environment Network.
