David Hunter joined the former Paragon Board in 2011, and since 2018, has chaired the Development and Assets Committee. David is also a member of Paragon Treasury plc.
David has a professional background as a Chartered Accountant and former employment includes positions with PwC and 3i, a private equity group.
David’s current interests in venture and social investment include chairing UCLB plc, University College London’s technology spinout and licensing operation, which is market funded. David also chairs the Investment Committee of the Care and Wellbeing fund backed by Big Society Capital and Macmillan Cancer Care.
In the not for profit area, David has been a Trustee of the national charity Age UK since 2012, and is Chairman of its Strategic Finance Committee and Chairman of its social enterprise holding company. More recently, David has become a Governor of the Motability Charity which oversees the disabled car scheme.
